Verizon Galaxy Nexus (Prime) Waiting Room

I'm going to go look at Sprint's Galaxy SII.
Just not sure I want to do business with Verizon for 2 years.

Yeah I had said my plan is to stick to Nexus phones and after all this its obvious GSM carrier is the way to go. Just not sure Verizons LTE is worth being locked down on phones I use. Usually on WiFi anyway

Re: December confirmation?

I think we'll see an announcement next Wednesday or Thursday (30 Nov or 1 Dec) for an 8 Dec release. It'll give stores time after Black Friday to get displays set up and accessories in place from deliveries that will occur ~Tuesday, 29 Nov. I don't think they'll be able to get away with selling the phone without a press release, so good news-- we only have a week to wait until Verizon (finally) announces it.

Re: December confirmation?

The words "if not sooner" in the title "Galaxy Nexus coming to the U.S. in December, if not sooner" makes the whole article pointless.

"The earth might end tomorrow, but maybe not"

Just like the world was supposed to end over the summer and we all know that didn't happen....

Nice....

RT @P3Droid And I think I finally have a good date, for the nexus. @Pydepypper are you hearing the same thing I heard?

Re: Galaxy Nexus Confirmed for December Launch in U.S.

OMG. How many times can a thread be created with this title?

At least once for every single different website that mentions the same date referencing the same source?

You could import from the UK, their galaxy nexus is GSM and works on T-Mobile and AT&T. OR you can just wait for it to be released on the other carriers in the US. I wouldn't wait longer tho. If it really is $800 here at full price, then you can currently import it for only $650.. so you actually get a deal. Since you will already have a phone, you can do T-Mobiles value plan which is only $50 a month unlimited everything, no contract and is offered pre-paid. It's a sweet deal, but you need a phone first.

Didn't want to start an off-topic thread for this but...Happy Thanksgiving Nexus Forum! We're almost there! I may or may not have just downloaded "Roboto" as my new default font for Word.
