I see no posts mentioning it. This company tweeted last night that they would receive them on the 9th, but their pre-order site didn't go live until today.

The 8th is looking more and more realistic. Hoping for pre-ordering a few days before that.

I am going to get on contract, so passing on ordering from a 3rd party off contract. (for now)

First and foremost, congrats on the pregnancy. If the Nexus does come out on the 8th, that would be one heck of a day for you. I guess I'd just have to settle for the phone being released.

Tempted to just do the pre-order with these guys just to get in line. I"m buying off contract anyway - worst case I cancel if VZW off contract is way cheaper.

I agree... But Verizon stock will be low. And lets say Verizon is back logged 2 weeks. Wouldn't it be nice to already have one per-ordered and ready to go here?

Actually - never mind.

I read their return policy. They basically only issue store credit or will take your device back as a trade-in.

I wouldn't normally worry about it as I have AMEX protection plus. But this goes over their limit.

I'm gonna hope that Verizon has accurately assessed demand and will have plenty of stock by 12/8. But then again I was also hoping for a 11/17 release date... :-\

I am sure Verizon will have plenty of stock. Rarely do androids sell out more than a few days, minus inc due to component shortages.

Verizon may even overstock with all of the Twitter and Facebook bombing that has occurred. Let's hope so!
