Drat. I just caught the news. Wow. Can you speculate why they postponed it? Would it have anything to do with Steve Job's death?

Wouldn't be surprised. That and the fact that the iPhail 4S is generally considered a disappointment so they don't feel as much pressure to steal Apple's thunder. They also may have decided they want the announcement to be its own event, done from Google HQ.

Thanks -- didn't even have an old Music Beta installed since I just wiped my phone. That gave me the sync option on my phone.

I know its just a rumor, but figured I would put it here for discussion as well: Official Specs of Samsung Galaxy Nexus (prototype unit) - xda-developers

• 1280?720 pixels / 4.65" / 315ppi
• 16GB internal storage and 1GB RAM (micro sd extension no supported)
• The prototype unit was running a dual-core cpu at 1.2....no info if it was the new exynos but he thinks production model will be clocked at 1.5Ghrz like galaxy S2 (the prototype of galaxys2 was running a 1Ghrz CPU)
• 5MP back campera and 1.3 in front
• Ice Cream Sandwich is very similar to honeycomb.
• No metal back cover but instead a plastic one in champagne colour and a little rough like GS2.
• No info about battery capacity cause they haven't decided yet...
• Vodafone exclusive in Europe with a November launch...
• Samsung Galaxy Nexus is the official Name.
