Verizon Galaxy Nexus (Prime) Waiting Room

P3Driod on twitter is saying he's hearing that the prime won't be stock. It seems to be see longshot at this point. It was always a longshot. I was set on getting the GS2 so it's not a dealbreaker, but it's still disappointing.

Actually he didn't say that at all. In reality he didn't say much of anything. I mean what's the point of that?

This could still be just a Droid branded phone with Verizon apps on it, I doubt there will be touchwiz on something that's not even available yet to put touchwiz on

I'd say LED is a toss-up at this point. The Epic Touch SGSII has one, but the other 2 variants don't. At least Samsung knows the people want one. There's at least a 50% chance it has one, IMO.

Yeah, I unfortunately don't have access to twitter at work except on my phone and I don't always follow it on there. I was posing that question more for the people who were taking it as the phone would not be released until after Christmas.

Hopefully since its not stock he just means that there will be bloatware thrown on it. Which doesn't seem like a huge deal since once we are rooted we will be able to get rid of it.

Really? The SGSII isn't stock, but people want that phone. The Vigor won't be stock, but people want it. You're telling me that (possibly) the first ICS sandwich won't have allure simply because it won't be stock?

Stock/Touchwiz/Bloatware probably won't get in the way of me purchasing this device. Yeah, I'd prefer stock in true Nexus-fashion, but if it's not I still think it's going to be a kick ass phone that VZW will treat as their flagship device.

It illustrates the point that there are no other stock device options to choose from. Thus, it's pretty much irrelevant. As a matter of fact, I'll go as far as to call his bluff on this one.

I'd love to have a pure Google Android phone with no bloatware installed...but...I'll deal with bloatware if I have to and root the phone if need be. I think most of us are most interested in the huge high quality Samsung res and ICS.

The 4.65" 720 screen is far and away the most intriguing aspect of the rumored specs thus far...not to say I'm not excited about ICS, speed, etc, but the screen is going to be absolutely incredible if these rumors come true.
