Verizon Galaxy Nexus (Prime) Waiting Room

Am I being paranoid or does this phone look too thin/curved to have a user-replaceable battery?
I've always thought that was a big negative for all iProducts.

Seems like a negative I will admit but I always had more battery life with my 3gs than I have with my Incredible, a lot more.

phandroid says:
"[Update]: Looks like our source worded it wrong. November 3rd is actually pegged as the Prime?s release date, meaning we should be seeing an announcement much sooner than that. Huzzah!"

Google / Samsung announce soon

Oct 27 is pre orders

Nov 3 is release

calling it right now

I think we will see the OMAP4460 up at 1.5 GHz.

If the 5 MP gets me great pictures in bright (outside) and dark (bars / restaurants) who cares what the MP is.

Oct 27 is for their event in London, probably the international announcement. Right afterNokia World...

I've heard the same from friends, but it's comforting to pack an extra, charged battery
when I travel. Particularly since so many have posted how LTE usage consumes so
much power.

about the battery issue:
If they don't give us a replaceable battery, I'm sure people will work around it and make battery cases, or something like what the iPhone has (even though we're going to lead the iPhone, not trail behind it :p)

If it does come in as the $299 premier phone on VZW, what do you think the international version will go for right out of the box? $650?

I have an att 3gs which is out of contract and can't wait to swing my grandfathered unlimited data plan over to the prime. But I'm not to keen on waiting until Q1 of 2012 for them to slowly role it out. Especially after seeing how they hacked up the SGS2 with that sweet lock screen snafu.

So I'm thinking about selling the 3gs for a couple dimes and snapping up the GSM version that just went through FCC. I just don't know what sort of a premium this is going to snag or how to activate and international phone on ATT after I get it.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think I just pull the sim and slap it in the prime then change the unlimited data package to a non-iphone version.

uhh, the wait is killing me...
