Been at work all day without being able to follow, sorry if I missed it. Has the full retail price been shown?

Yes, but you need to order over the phone and you have to specifically ask for Saturday delivery. It's $20 extra.

why order on the phone? Is there not an option for overnight Saturday delivery on the website? For specific reasons i will have to to a web order.

The leaked documents mentioned that the dec 9th launch was for "all channels" so maybe you'll have luck with retailers.

My indirect store almost ALWAYS has new phones on release day. We had the Razr 2-3 days before launch and should have the Nexus tomorrow since ours were shipped out today and are usually next day or 2 day shipping. We will have about 10 in store the day before launch.

So how soon will I be able to call and order it through telesales. Same day it's in the store or a day before?:-$

If it is over $649 retail at the VZW store I will get a new single line contract with the GN and cancel the contract the next day. Why would they charge you more than the 2 year contract price + the ETF?

Because VZW did that for the Xoom. It was 800 retail, 600 on contract with only the 175 contract cut off price... VZW isn't as smart all the time....

the store on 86th street and lex in manhattan told me last night that it will be for sale friday morning and to come on in, no appointment though...

but now with this new news about it being pushed back again, i don't know what to think... other than to think that i'm really pissed off.

What news?

Back to the off-contract price. You guys are saying that you would set up a new contract at $299 + whatever start-up fees and taxes there are, then cancel the next day and pay the full $175 ETF for a total of $474 and some change. So let's round up to $500. Then we get to keep the phone, right?

Then I can go pick up a new SIM card (edit: never mind, I just would never activate the SIM card on the new contract number), and activate the phone on my old, original contract and sell my Bionic for whatever the free market decides?

Is there anything I'm missing? That sounds way too easy on my part and way too dumb on Verizon's part.

Yes, you're missing the fact that the ETF for a smartphone is $350.
