Well, and like I've been saying, nfl mobile doesn't work on the nexus yet, so it wouldn't make any sense to advertise it to an audience that will want to use an app that doesn't work.

That's bizarre reasoning. I'm sure the percentage of avid NFL watchers (I consider myself one, as well as College) that actually use the NFL Mobile app is probably pretty small. I know I don't even have it installed on my phone, let alone use it.
I do agree though, that the Nexus does not have much in the way to differentiate itself (other than Android 4.0 and on screen buttons) versus the Rezound (with Beats) and the Razr (Kevlar backing, super thin, Gorilla Glass Screen). Since it doesn't have a lot of stuff to differentiate, it's hard to advertise that device specifically.
Either way, the typical Football demographic fits the Nexus/Razr/Rezound demographic just fine.
