Verizon: Galaxy Note 8 Pre-Order Thread

I am a New Jersey resident. My tracking info shows my Note8 left Memphis yesterday and is now checked in at Newark, NJ. Soooooo close. Come to papa..... :)

Mine left New Jersey, today, and has now landed in Tampa... That's where I live... I do believe I'll get mine Tuesday, now.

I have a big issue trying to receive my Note 8 on Tues. Like everyone else, I have tacking info. but mine was pre-ordered from Costco and they're trying to tell me I can't have it until 15th regardless. it's in a separate page in these Note 8 forums. please read and give me your 2¢. Thank you all!!
stop posting the same thing all over. my $.02

I'm so excited it's in Fort Lauderdale, Florida already!!!!! I'm in Delray Beach!!!!!!

I know, I know....didn't want to, just wanted more then 1 response. Hoping someone else has dealt with this and had a good course of action. Whether it was Costco or others.

You could have save yourself some grief and ordered the Note 8 from a Verizon store. I love Costco, but being a Verizon user, I would never order a mobile device from other than a Verizon store. Anyway, that's my $0.02.

Are you trading in a phone with the 50% off promo? If so that order is your empty box to send the phone back in.

Yes, I'm getting the 50% off promo; however, not according to the long-time Verizon store employee, Ty, in which I have dealt with for five years now and he has always been correct. Ty indicated that my Note 8 will be delivered to my home. Upon delivery, I simply return my S7E to Ty at my Verizon store.

Had no clue they wouldn't honor early deliveries-they certainly didn't mention that. I won't be preordering from them again.

They're now telling me it's because of the mobile company(they only rent the space to them basically), it's their corporate who just doesn't allow for them to be released earlier. He won't even have a way to scan it to generate a receipt until his corporate puts it into their system which is done the night before typically. Understood, but if things are shipping a little early, then how hard is it to put the info on the system that much earlier. He did say that it's nothing abhor their contract with Samsung-if Samsung is allowing deliveries then they're allowing it.

Well I'm sure Ty knows better than I do, but based on my recent experience you shouldn't get too excited because that's an empty box coming your way. You should have two order numbers, one for the phone (mine was a 10 digit number) and one for said box (mine was a 7 digit that started with 106).

You could log on to your Verizon account and navigate to my orders to find out for sure. Just promise me that if I'm right you'll tell Ty that random guy on a forum knows more than he does. Ha.

Well after spending a good day and a half taking in the sights and sounds of Memphis my note 8 has finally boarded a plane heading home to New England. See you in less than 48 hours, little buddy. Haha

Mine is checking out the sights around the Baltimore inner harbor before it gets in the delivery truck

Graceland is actually quite worth the visit; though I've never been. My late-fiancée sponsored her eldest son's trip there to get married on the grounds (I believe) not very long ago.
