Verizon has begun "Corporate Discount Validation"

I'm wondering what Verizon's time frame is to finish this verification process. I finally took a peek at "my Verizon" and half expected a pop up to jump out at me telling me to get verified. Nothing at all and my discount is still sitting there as listed. Ive been retired for over three years. My former employer is a city in AZ and they use at least 1000 Verizon phones if not more. Maybe their Verizon agreement states to continue giving the retirees a break with the discount. ;)

If I remember correctly, in response to my wife's email to Verizon (from her business email address), she received a response that the code texted to her had to be used within 72 hours for the process to complete. At the first go, we missed these 72 hours, and had to start the process over with her email to Verizon.

I had a comcast discount for 5 yrs and never had to verify until now. Instead of using my company discount I decided to us my veteran instead. Had to bring my dd214 to a verizon ofice and took only 5 mins

I recieved a text yesterday or the day before. Just validated it and I am all set.

Now what to do with my upgrade... S4 or Note 3... upgrade or buy outright... unlimited or 6GB... Decisions.

Well, it looks like I'll be losing mine. I got their message to validate and I,ve been retired for over the past three years, so no employer for me. It was nice while it lasted. My bill will be increasing by $25/mo. I've made a change with my minutes so the net increase is only $5/mo. Not terrible. Like I said it was nice while it lasted, but I knew it wasn't for life.

I have not had internet at home for years and finally got it, so my UL data seemed kind of un-relevant. I had been using 30Gig/mo on average. I'm having a hard time using 1gig these days by leaving WiFi enabled. So I decided UL data wasn't worth having if it meant always paying full price for devices. I decided to go with the 6Gig plan and saved $400 on an HTC ONE. Love the phone and don't regret my decision at all. Best speakers and RF on any phone Ive had to date. Like I said, no regrets on losing UL.

Hmmm... I only average about 5.5 a month, so with wifi on at home, I could be OK.
