Hey so yesterday I got the update and also enabled the HD calling feature...but today in two separate calls (neither with HD calling) I noticed static on the line for the first time. I checked and each time I had strong signal strength and 4G...wondered if anyone else noticed a decrease in quality after the update? Maybe its temporary but since I noticed it on two calls to two different people I am beginning to wonder.

I've had trouble with people hearing me. I hear them fine they say I'm muffled

I too took the update, stock phone..and added AdvancedCalling 1.0.

One thing to try is to completely power-down the device and power back up.

Advanced caller to Advanced caller is excellent but, If I call someone without AC they are muffled a bit with some static. When I untick AC 1.0 then no problems.

Sadly, we are Beta maybe Alpha testers at this point. I hope it gets better. I left mine off.

People say they cannot hear me. Also sometimes the call just fails to connect.

I haven't had much luck either, the first day on it I dropped a call and then yesterday I made a call and had 3 bars of 4G and my wife couldn't hear me. I called back and she still couldn't, I then unchecked advance calling and had no problems.

We're you able to hear them ok ? I could hear everyone fine it was them not being able to hear me that was the problem

Thanks for posting the issues guys. I'll keep it off my wife's G3 for now and not turn it on when the X gets it.

I did the update last night and have talked to my wife on an iPhone 6 with advanced calling as well a couple times and all is good. First time I called her and she heard me talking first thing she said was why do you sound different its a lot clearer. She said it sounded like I was standing right there.

I just tried it, calling my house phone (FIOS), and every time my wife spoke, there was a little pffft of static. I disabled it, and called back, and it seemed better. I think I'm going to leave it off for now.

I got the update last night but I did not activate advanced calling. We just got a new phone system where I work that has HD voice and everyone sounds muffled just like it's described in this thread. So I think I will just leave the advanced calling turned off on my personal phone.
