Regardless -- If he was told it wouldn't change then they will give it back. They can't just tell you one thing and switch it afterwards.

Just return the phone. A regular rep can get this resolved.

Did you use the upgrade from the unlimited line? If you did, you will have a hard time getting unlimited restored without returning the phone.
