I'm glad I saw this thread I just tried to update the radio so that I could put on a new rom and all the sudden only could get 1x thought I screwed something up so I'm doing a restore to my most recent back up. Its down in Cincinnati, Ohio too.

Just checked my phone while studying... stuck with old fashioned bars. no 1X... settings say that mobile network is (turning on) but that's it. been turning on for 3 hours... WACK!

Now i don't know if its a coincedence since I told my FB app to sync to contacts (using FB for Android to surf FB, FB for HTC to sync w/ contacts... provides better pics for contacts)... but man this circle sync thing has been going on now for like 15 minutes and the 1X arrows are going crazy.
