Verizon LTE outage

Hahahaha just got an email from Verizon. Introducing the first 4g phone for Verizon, the thunderbolt. Hahahahahaha!!!!

Has anyone called Verizon and got some kind of credit on their account because of this?

Nice, hanging at Disneyland, waiting for the fireworks and read the thread, rebooted phone and now have 3G at least! Truly is the Happiest Place on Earth! Foursquare was tough on 1x!

Well I'm sitting in my living room watching Justified...it's raining outside...and I start hearing thunder. Then I realize it's my TB rebooting. Wtf. Why did it do that? Who knows, but when I turned off my wifi, 3G was back after having only 1X in Annapolis, MD all day. So....glad it's back, don't know why my phone auto-rebooted.

In NYC. Phone rebooted about 30 minutes ago while I was watching a video. Figured something may have happened and switched off Rev A and after it rebooted I now have 3G using the normal photos settings.

Whew! That was a beating! Just started getting used to having a rocket in my pocket with LTE and it was gone. Firing on all cylinders again here in Dallas-Ft.Worth area.

It's never easy being an early-adapter to new technology. I implement it for a living and it's always the same ... nervous customer pulls the trigger and lays out the dough, falls in love with new hardware/software, shows it off to anyone who'll listen and then .... first bug pops up and I'm a crook/incompetent/moron/you-name-it and they want it fixed NOW! LOL

I didn't suffer much though but I have saved a Memo on my TBolt with the instructions for rolling over to the "vanilla 3G" side of Big Red when and if this happens again. Had 3G all day, just no simultaneous data/voice so there was no need to raid the local Verizon box-store and take hostages this time ....

May have spoken too soon. After switching back to eHRPD, I see that my service fluctuates between 3G and voice only. Hopefully things will be back to normal in the morning.

All right. 3G is back on in Oklahoma City. Just like everyone else, I hope 4G is back up and running in the morning.
