Welcome to Android Central!

Did you get this figured out?

Nope.. For some odd reason the phone will drop the connection for a very was LTE signal

I have been fighting with my signal station for awhile(with an HTC and now S7) but the issue is that the phone will search for a weak 4G signal over the 3G on the network extender. One way to resolve this is to turn LTE off when you want the phone to default to the signal station. I don't have this exact phone so I can't give you the specifics of what settings to go to for the network mode. Verizon seems to have limited it for a lot of android phones to not allow for LTE to be turned off. It wasn't limited for the iphone. If you go to the Sticky for the S7 Edge FAQs there is directions for forcing the phone into a network mode. Obviously it isn't the same directions since it is a different phone but there is a link to a third party app that lets you turn the LTE off so that may help. Good luck

I have a network extender but I've never been able to make any phone stay connected to it. All my phone's jump between the extender and the network signal.

I had Samsung phones that had no issues with it. It's just this phone for some reason. It will connect to a zero bar LTE signal than a full bar 3G!
