Verizon- pie update?

So this is what I'm on now.. will I be able to take the Verizon update when it comes out? Sorry if you have covered this already

Your good to go , CSB3 is the most current carrier firmware and Verizon will drop it when it rolls out so your good going forward...

Question
I am on the side loaded version of ARL1, can i bypass CSAA update and jump to side load CSB3 ? or will i miss something if I do not do the updates in order Thank You.

Yes can use the update from ARL1 to CSB3 no problem that way your on what all the carriers are on

I'm not familiar with the compass being talked about how would I go about checking it? I'd never use it anyway probably just curious to learn something new. :)

Compass is in the edge panel , you'll need to add it within it as a tab like your contacts its called quick tools

Sure appreciate your prompt feedback Mustang. My heart rate has slowed considerably since being able to update from CSAA to CSB3. My paranoia of bricking this bad boy was running pretty high. Once VZW gets off their *** and finally drops the update, I am hoping the build number is the same as this update. I suppose if it's different, I can either try to Odin back or use the VZW update tool to repair. Anyway, this is an awesome place to look for feedback.

If your on ARL1 find the file ARL1 to CSAA
IF YOUR ON CSAA FIND CSAA TO CSB3

So Mustang, you're saying we are good to go with the update provided by Google docs link on XDA (CSAA to CSB3)? Do you have any idea what changes are in this update? The only issue I have in the current CSAA version is that my Galaxy watch disconnects after disconnecting phone from Android Auto.

It brings Feb security, compass fix is all I'm aware of

Thank You Again.

Ok so i was sucessful with side loading CSAA but when I try CSB3 install it still fails, my security patch still shows January. CSAA should bring me up to FEB. ? any suggestions tried numerous times with the install.

Thanks for the links and guidance. I have now updated twice, using this forum, since the last official release from Verizon. Both times went very smoothly. Much appreciated!
