Nope, none of you who think you are getting it are actually getting it. It's a farce.
Either that or this whole thread is just another in a line of idiocy directed at Verizon.
But I have to go and tell my Verizon Pixel to uninstall Oreo because people who haven't figured out how this phone works with Verizon think the update will be delayed even though there is nothing about how this phone has been handled that would give any reasonable person cause to think that.

I know some don't like these postings, but I bet it is weeks or even months before Verizon rolls this out to those of us with stock Verizon purchased devices. The security updates are one thing, which they have done a good job on, but an entire new OS? I'm partly writing this hoping to be proven wrong.

Well people will certainly write articles and threads saying to be careful about getting the Pixel 2 on Verizon because they might delay updates, because people are...I don't wanna say stupid, so I'll just say that people are entitled to their opinions.

Yep, got mine too. Part of why I posted the notes about Verizon delaying it was reverse psychology on my part. Figured the opposite of what I said would happen, and it did. You were right tdizzel.
