Verizon S10/+: Pre-Order Thread

I posted earlier today saying Verizon texted me saying they received my order and they charged my card.

So far, I haven't received any shipment information. In addition, all traces of ship by or deliver by 3/8/2019 have been removed from my order information when checking from either the app or the website.

I'm still hoping it will ship soon. Really looking forward to switching from my iPhone.

So ok here goes nothing!

So Last week on Feb 27th I was going to start the process of upgrading to the S10 and my wife was going to switch from t-mobile to Verizon and get an s10e for free. After spending 5 hours on the phone, the whole order had to be canceled because it was done wrong. My wife wasn't even a customer yet.

Next we are told that Wife needs to port her number over and the device if unlocked. So they port the number over, but to my phone and now my broken phone by the way, an old samsung stellar with a cracked screen and non working battery, has no number.

Now we get my number back on my phone, but now we have no phone or number for my wife on the Verizon network and my plan. So she goes into a corporate store for answers on 3/2

Since I had protection on my device, I was able to get a new one for $19 or something. Also port services were able to track down my wife's old number. They giver her a sim car and and tried to used her old s8, but with no luck because its locked!! In the meantime she was told that since we were getting a replacement Stellar, they will give her a temporary # and that replacement phone.

She was able to go ahead with the upgrade as well. She was told that on Monday 3/4 she would have the temp phone. It is now 3/8 and my order for the s10 and s19e are still in processing status as are my two orders for accessories for said phones. Also that Samsung Stellar I paid insurance on, still never received it.

So here we sit over a week paying for cell phone service or at least being charged for service that 1. my wife has never been able to use seeing as she has no working phone on the network and 2. my phone hasn't worked in about a week and never got a replacement that was promised. 2 phones that say deliver by 3/8 still have not left processing status.

Patiently awaiting Fedex to show up with mine today. I've been Apple for years but this phone really caught my attention. It could be the one that finally gets me to switch (that and Apple doing dumb crap)
 
I'm in the same boat, ordered two and the black one will be delivered tomorrow and my white one is still processing. Chat said the white ones are on back order now 👎we will probably get it next week now

You get any update? Mine still says processing with delivery by today....
 
Look at the Best Buy thread and the other carriers. This whole launch is a huge cluster F**K.

I believe that Samsung has produced these new phones in very low numbers. The carriers are taking orders for phones that don't have and can't ship.

All I want is my 1TB Ceramic Black :-\
 
Yup. I went to BB and no phone. Called customer service and they said it could take up to a week to get in. What is the point of ordering the phone weeks in advance? It's like that Seinfeld episode. That's the whole point of having a reservation.
 
Had to take matters into my own hands and contact the Verizon Executive Offices (David Small - Executive VP at Verizon). I promptly got a response and an analyst from his office and she got me a phone (1TB - Ceramic Black) and got it shipped for Saturday delivery in a matter of 2 hours.fedex capture.JPG


All hope is not lost after all.... But word to the wise you guys.. DO NOT and i repeat DO NOT order accessories with your phone for a pre order like this... You are asking for you order to be held up if the accessory is not in stock or present at the same warehouse that the phone is located at...

Every Verizon corporate store in my area have the ceramic black & ceramic white 512GB phones in stock but not a single 1TB to be found anywhere.
 
The phone I have on pre-order that still is processing is in stock at bestbuy... And probably the stores too ergggg do you think I can get it from the store??

If your getting it from Verizon I don't think you will have a problem. Best Buy, I'm not too sure about.
 
BestBuy is sucking today. The online Verizon rep said she could have one guaranteed have one shipped to my house arriving tomorrow.
