Verizon S10/+: Pre-Order Thread

^^^^This! Still waiting to see what they can do for me. Just had a long conversation with the rep about getting special education services for her daughter. At this point I’m feeling like maybe there was a reason I needed to call and talk with her. Hopefully I could help her even if she can’t help me.

Are you sure cause online it will say in stock, but the rep checked the actual stores stock and said no have the white cause they are waiting for Samsung to ship them out.

I'd honestly probably call a couple stores by yourself if you wanted to go get it. The reps are very hit and miss and usually just say stuff
 
Well guys I successfully got my 128gb prism white from the store, but I had to add another line and put my sim card in it. Hopefully the executive assistant I talked to gets this right and is able to cancel it and nothing gets screwed up. The store couldn't cancel my preorder either because the order was pending. A pretty bad system. I hope all of you get it soon enough!! Disappointed with this launch but the phone is really great! Like my pixel 3 but missed samsung and feels good to be back especially with such an amazing phone.
 
I just checked and have been charged for mine. No notifications from Verizon but the cancel button is gone from the order processing screen.

Same here as of this morning. No text, email or tracking number yet but my cancel button is gone.

Thought I would have a tracking number by now. :-\
 
So it is 3/9 almost 8 am here is Chicago and still nothing new. I pre-ordered a 128gb blue s10 and nothing. Oh wait to accessory orders I place on 3/1 that were processing have out of nowhere been canceled . I guess a phone that RELEASED Nationally on 3/8 won't get here until who knows when....so I sit her with a non working Samsung Stellar and my wife sites here with a locked t-mobile Samsung galaxy s8 with a verizon sim card. over a week now without phones and my 10yr old has her working note 8...

Verizon corporate stores have most phones in stock except the Flamingo. Check your local stores.

Sadly it didn’t work out for me. She was fantastic. The guy she escalated to was fantastic. The woman he escalated to was a jerk. She was condescending and rude. Her supervisor was just as bad. I’m a bit pissed at Verizon right now. By the end of the 3 hours on the phone it was no longer about when the darn thing would ship. It was about them breaking a contract and refusing to do anything about it. It was their utter failure in the customer service department. I strive to treat others with respect and I expect the same. Being completely aware that the person on the other end of the phone isn’t personally responsible for the mess their company created, I act accordingly. But the moment you talk down to me I’m done being nice.

The issue for me is the shipping date. I ordered with the knowledge it would be delivered by the 8th. I wanted the pink but was told that would be delayed so settled on the white. Now the phone will ship and be delivered when we are out of town. Verizon refuses to mark it for a later ship date and tells me to cross my fingers that I have service where I’m going so I can ask fedex to hold it until I get back. Really Verizon? You make a mess and expect me to pay for it and clean it up too? If they weren’t the only carrier who had service in some of the places I go I’d be done with them. Unfortunately I’m stuck with the jerks and it really rankles right now!

Sorry for the rant. On the bright side, my daughter’s bogo 10e arrived so at least I get a small taste of the new UI and S10 goodness.
 
Problem with that is it messes up the free buds offer.

Yup, which is also ridiculous since the stores shouldn't have any stock until all preorders are filled and if they messed up and sent them and didn't have enough then they should be giving the in store phones to preorder customers.

I did get mine at a store yesterday and went into the Samsung shop app and it said my device was eligible for the free buds and I uploaded my preorder confirmation. There's no meid or anything on the order confirmation so maybe it'll work? Hasn't been approved yet so we will see. Idk if I'd risk it though but I almost considered just forgetting about the buds and getting the phone even if I didn't have that lady tell me she will send me free buds.

I agree, this whole thing has me wanting to leave Verizon. It's not about that they made a mistake it's that they can't or refuse to fix it and don't care. If I wasn't on an account with my sister I would.
 
My S10 Plus 1TB in ceramic black has just been shipped from Verizon with a delivery date of Tuesday 3/12 by 4:30

Bout Time ! :)
