Verizon S8 / S8+ Pre-Order Discussion

jeez. as far as that guy getting 2 s8's already I'm not surprised if he ordered them direct.. doesn't it say in plain english on samsungs page they will ship 8 days early? If he ordered it from a carrier I am still not too surprised.

also I pre-ordered from verizon at launch, but randomly got a text message today about that order, saying I will get tracking information when it ships. I am expecting them to ship by monday personally.
 
Any change in the Verizon order status online? Usually once you get charged, it changes from Processing to something different.

Still says processing as of now. Will compulsively check a few times before I go to bed tonight
 
I just received a notification from CC company Verizon charged my card. It's the amount for S8+. I did check the status and it has not changed, but it just cleared within the last 5 minutes, so I'm guessing I should see a change sometime tomorrow. :D
 
Got a txt message from Verizon saying two of my 3 pre orders were received. Account got charged for both also. Still says processing. Getting closer now 👍
 
Just got an email saying they couldn't process my order. I'm on the phone with them now.
 
Got the same txt as others. My card was also charged. Pre-ordered on 3/30.
 
What are they saying?
Can't speak for him, but that's happened to me a few times. The credit card company flags it for some reason and you have to call the card company and tell them to stop being stupid. Then Verizon can run it again when you call them up. It's so annoying when that happens.

Though it's for our protection, some cc companies can be too obnoxious

That didn't happen here though. I checked with my bank and nothing was presented. That's the first thing I thought when I got the email.
 
LOL As I was just typing the last response, I got 2 txt messages. One from credit card company with a trigger warning that something over $250 is being charged. Another from Verizon saying "Your order #8675309 was received on 4/14/2017. blah blah blah tracking information when your order ships."
No change on the Verizon order page yet, but obviously something happening.
EDIT: There was a slight change on the Verizon order page. It used to say your order would ship on the 21st. Now there's no date there and it just says processing.
