Not currently. I have had issues in the past where udp would randomly drop off the line. I just pop the sim into a smartphone, then go and make a change to blocking services udp comes back. You having any issues with your router?

dpham what are blocking services? I put my sim in a smartphone to contact verizon the other day and have not put it back in the mifi. Now I am afraid to.
Is using a plan/SIM intended for a smartphone in a data-only device authorized?

It's Verizon.. Did you actually expect them to keep their promise?Yes the same letter posted in the forums urging people to switch to a tiered plan bc Verizon is no longer offering the unlimited data plan...I'm just so confused as to why Verizon raised the price of the unlimited data plan by $20 and now wants to do way with it all together. I thought Verizon promised an "open road" to those of us with unlimited data when that price hike occured ? Now it seems as if Verizon is dumping these customers who obviously are willing to pay for their services ....just so sad...but life moves on and I guess so will I ...but I believe Verizon is wrong for this move.
Where are you? Give this a whirl: 3G and 4G LTE Cell Coverage Map - OpenSignal

But it isn't truly unlimited anymore. The $20 dollar increase was their second phase to try to entice people off unlimited and I'm sure it worked for quite a few who decided it wasn't worth it and moved to a tiered plan (first phase was to require paying full retail to keep unlimited). This is the third phase that is focused on extreme data users. So while I wish anyone luck in fighting it, keep in mind you are in the bullseye right now and Verizon would like nothing more than for you to be gone (or at a minimum curtail your high usage). That's the hard reality! On a positive note, at least they haven't outright killed unlimited.![]()
