At&T has been aggressively marketing their Cricket brand though. The last promotion was $55 on auto pay for 20 GB data.
I see a max of 10 GB plans on their website...

My wife and I were going to switch from AT&T to Verizon. After looking at our options, research, and phone calls, we ended up going with T Mobile. 4 lines, 2.5gb 4gLTE unlimited per line, for $100/mo. Plus, I get a fed employee discount of 15% too.
I travel a bunch, and I think t mobile might bite me in the ****....probably good coverage here in dfw though

I'm in DFW as well, McKinney to be precise and I do not get calls at my house, only data...that is the weirdest thing. I'd just get voicemails from people saying I didn't pick up their calls. Called support and call got dropped like 4 times driving on 121 highway from Frisco to McKinney. Now we're with Verizon.
Damn...I'm in Allen so that doesn't bode well. Its my only phone,no home or office line so it has to be dependable. I have to pay for new phones and convince the family to move to verizon

I think I am leaning towards putting my son by himself on cricket wireless and keeping the other 3 of us on att. The girls don't want to move. My son is the data hog.

That's a good call too. With Cricket, I think you can still get AT&T service but data will go to Edge after certain GBs, I *think*.
Here is the T Mobile map I mentioned.
I was hoping to be eligible for this great deal too but sadly not avail in FL. Only parts of Texas and Louisiana. So Verizon offers a 10gb plan for 80 bucks but also has a promo 10gb plan to go with it? I can't find that deal anywhere.
Are you sure that's for your phone? Or is that for you ETF?They also are giving $300 for your phone.
I don't know about that. I started with a 5GB plan that was $40/line. They soon offered me 10GB and $15/line (IOW, I wasn't paying for the phones any more). And they dropped the price on the basic plan by $30/month. I've switched plans now, but I'm waiting for the next "go to this site and double your data" text. All with a one month data rollover.Att doesn't give two craps and offers nothing to keep a 20 year customer.
The maps are fantasies. They're not made by driving around, yelling "can you hear mew now", they're calculated by computer model. Sometimes the models aren't at all accurate. (Sprint, in this town, doesn't model knife-edge shadows, so my daughter's entire house is one huge dead spot - right in the middle of their "everything is solid coverage" area.) And I've found "dead spots that were covered by reflections from water towers, steel buildings, all sorts of things. (I've been in this busi9ness since you had to scream for the mobile operator when you wanted to place a call from your car - no dialing out yet.)These maps are not 100% accurate at the micro level.

Ok, I am missing the boat or something here......seems like everyone is paying so much less than me on Verizon. Granted, I do have 2 grandfathered Unlimited Data Lines and 2 dumb lines and I am paying $215.88/month! I do get subsidized phones......every 2 years or so. I have always been very conscious of how much data I use, even though I don't have to be.....
