I honestly have no idea what to do with this, but I was reading an optimus S thread and found out you can get the update file by going to http://csmg.lgmobile.com:9002/csmg/b2c/client/auth_model_check2.jsp?esn=A000002XXXXXXX
MEID goes in the XXXXXXX.
From there it gives you a link to the VM670ZV5_07.S5_07.P61007.cab file. I have no idea if this is of any use, but I'm just putting this out there for the devs to work with.
