Voodoo control keeps closing

I put this in applications but since it's more of a device specific app really I'm gonna throw it in here too.

Love voodoo and the colors. But on MIUI and Stock the app seems to get closed by the system in the background and the colors revert to normal. Never restarts itself. Is there a way to prevent this. Colors will be very RICH and DARK when I set it then 5 minutes later they are washed out again. Really annoying.

It could be the android os stopping it for ram space that miui likes to eat up.

You can try moving it to system/app partition with root explorer. No guarantees tthough
