My Storm found out it was going to get replaced and started to act up
Its going to make me feel the pain until the 24th.

Yep, right there with all of you. I only have to do one or two QuickPulls per day if I don't actually use the phone at all. If I try to look up something on the internet or check a couple of emails, though, I'm easily up to two or three. And don't get me started on the browser. I can't even load large portions of this site. It takes a few minutes, eventually flashes a view of the conversation chain, and then completely omits it and calls it a day. Sheesh. The 24th can't possibly come soon enough.

I love the idea of the Storm 1 support group. Storm -> Thunderbolt -> Lightning! Or we could go regionalized, Hurricane/Typhoon/Cyclone depending on what part of the world we live in.

The best way to have that phone working somewhat ok, is to wipe and reload everything. My wife still uses my old 9530 with no problems(she has no apps installed tho). I did the samething with my 9550 before I sold it and that usually makes a noticeable difference.

As to weather related names, since BlackBerry came out with the Storm 1 and Storm 2 and then HTC has the Thunderbolt (which in all actuality doesn't make sense); HTC should make the replacement a name like Lightningboom or something like that.

While yes lightning causes thunder, people don't think of thunder as a bolt or lightning as a boom.

Since other Storm users are in here let me ask this. Do you think the Thunderbolt will fit in the same holster (Blackberry leather with the magnetic flap) and does anyone think the magnet could be a bad thing?

For the record i got my storm1 the day it came out, and it is still running pretty much the same... meterberry takes care of battery pulls and i just don't load much on it. My plan is to keep it for international travel as it is unlocked...
