Just emailed the sprintcares address. Will probably be told the same thing that the agent told me on the phone, but figured it's worth a shot.
I didn't get a response from the "Upgrade..." e-mail address. I did call the 877 number and spoke to a very nice lady, but got a response that I haven't heard yet on this thread. My "full upgrade" is currently scheduled for 4/1/2012, and I was one of the people put into Premier Silver, but she said I could get that 4/1/2012 date moved to today if I pay $105. It looks like on this board that other people have gotten this courtesy for free...anybody have ideas on why I'm different? Should I just keep calling back until I get the answer I want?
Thanks!

Just call 1 877 775 4886 and ask for a manual upgrade override. It will show in your account in within 20 minutes.
Seems like most ppl are having luck where they were suppose to get the upgrade THIS year either this month or next if they were still on gold.
im in this boat.
my full upgrade was to be on 7/1, but not since the switch to premier silver, its only half the upgrade and i dont qualify till 5/21/12 for the full 150.
so i emailed both, we will see if i get a response.
in the end we have to pay 300 out of pocket to get the phone instore anyways correct?
I walked out the door paying $50+ tax. I got the $199 upgrade price (via SprintCares--Yes, I had a year left on my contract.) plus instant rebate (no more mail-in rebates), and I traded in my EVO 4G for an extra $150.
It was too good a deal to pass up.
This phone is FAST!![]()
Wow very nice.
I didn't realize the rebates were instant now.
When did this change?
I got rid of my evo for a epic but I'll be able to sell it for 150-200 easy.

You can also go into any Radio Shack and they can process a one time upgrade, if you purchase the phone at that time. If you leave the store without a purchase your upgrade will revert to original status." Just put your cell number, whatever name is on the Sprint account you want to upgrade, and the date that your upgrade was or would have been available (if not for the program change) in an email and send it off to UpgradeRestore@sprint.com " OR sprintcares@sprint.com
EDIT: Many people are getting a quicker response from sprintcares@sprint.com as an alternative solution ... Try both for good measures.
