Ware OS Rebranding

Anybody optimistic for a Google branded watch announcement this year at I/O? I know I want a watch, and I'd love one somewhere between the ticwatch and the LG Sport! Curious if this jump-starts the watch industry or if it just stays the same as it currently stands.

I would like to see a new chip and Bluetooth 5 for faster connectivity.

I miss some of the UI and functionality from aw 1.5.

I want to swipe left to get to my list of apps without having to click the button Everytime.

the button to increase volume is much smaller and harder to get them when on 1.5

This. 1.5 could be navigated completely hands free and even send messages and hit 'OK' with gestures. 2.0 removed some of those meaning you could only do some of that then still have to touch the watch for the rest. That killed the experience for me

I think Google NEED to release their own wearables even if just to showcase the OS and give it a much needed kick start much like the Pixel phones or Microsoft with the Surface line.
