Warn if S Pen is left behind issue

I don't get any notice either. I also can't find setting to reset Spen in Advanced setting, Spen . Would someone inform me where the setting is located?

Hi, try this...

>Go To Settings
>Search S Pen
>Select S Pen
>Select Air Actions (Toggle on if not already)
>Select the 3 dot button in the upper right hand corner
>Drop down box appears with the reset pen option

:)

On Android 12 I no longer get the pop up, the sound, or the notification in the notification shade.

That's odd works for me on Android 12 , It also worked for me on Android 11.
See mines pop-up and give me a sound and vibration warning. Screenshot_20220112-181514_One UI Home.jpg

For the ones having issues for popup warning and sound, You do realize phone has to be sleeping the screen should be off , then walk away far and see if it working, please let us know.

Yep. Before I updated to 12 I was at least getting the pop up. Now I don't get anything.

So now I'm back to just getting the pop up. I'm thinking this is a sign to rest my phone but I'm not doing it just for a sound and to get my edge lighting back working .not doing it. Lol

Thanks Ruben... that was it! Black screen... got a doo.. doo, double tapped the screen and there was the window asking where my s-pen was!!!

(I had been trying it with the screen awake all this time... which, could happen, actually??? What then???)

Yes I did and I tryed it but still doesn't work, I'll keep trying though. May give samsung another try and see what kind of excuse they come up with.

May not be the same problem as discussed above, however, this morning I just noticed that the S Pen was "one click" out from the silo. Reading the discussions here prompted me to check out my S Pen settings, and that's when I noticed.

By "one click", I mean the position the pen is in after pressing on it once while the pen is fully inserted into the silo. I don't know how long the pen was in the "one click" position (still predominately in the silo), or when I may have unknowingly initiated a "one click".

"Advanced features\S Pen\When S Pen is left behind" is on, however, since the pen is still with the phone and in the silo in "one click" position, I don't expect a warning to occur. "Advanced features\S Pen\When S Pen is removed" is set to "Open Air Command", yet that does not appear. Perhaps the "one click" position qualifies as "fully inserted in silo", thus no warnings are triggered.

The above is with the One UI 4.0 update, unlocked model SM-N986U1; January 1, 2022 security patch.

That click has nothing to do with the pen being inserted. The click is just to make it easier for you to grab the pen.
