Google's Play Music app just became available directly online a week or two ago. Previously, you had to download the Music Manager app before uploading music. Now, from your PC, or [I'm assuming] Mac, you should be able to go directly to the internet Google Play site and upload up to 20,000 individual songs from your computer to their cloud. From there, you can choose to stream to any computer you log in to, stream or download directly to your phone via the Play Music app, etc.

To download specific songs, albums, or playlists, click on the pin icon for whatever it is you want stored on your phone. Keep data usage in mind, depending on the quantity of music you're storing. There's an option (I believe default-selected) to only download via WiFi. I suggest that. Does that help?

*quick note* This only works on unprotected songs...some historical music that iTunes provided in protected format will not upload.

How do you guys get music stored on your HTC One M8? Are you just using Pandora, Spotify, slacker or? I have quite a music library in iTune's. Is there anyway to get that music into my HTC One M8? Thx!

I use Google Play Music. If you were to use it too, like bran said, you can just take the music folder and "drag and drop" onto the Play Music website to upload them. You can then use the Play Music app, and hit the pin to download them to your device. Last I looked MP3 and AAC file formats are supported, so your iTunes collection should transfer over fine, unless you have FLACs or something like that.

download on your pc and phone. it will ask sd card or phone choose and BAM...... i installed over 5,000 songs on my sd card with-out a glitch.

So, you've got a shiny new HTC One with the metallic metal, them ultra rapid fire pixels, the sound of booms, and a front facing camera of sheer epicness. Congratulations. Now, there's a question that just needs to be asked, and no, it's not "how many of you forget that there's no double tap to sleep, so you just keep hitting your screen over and over and wondering why nothing is happening?" I'm not speaking from personal experience at all. No, the real question is: what have you been using your One to listen to? Because that is the only thing that matters...in this thread.

For myself, the six albums I always go back to lately are:

• Wolves & Machines - Since Before Our Time
• Bon Iver - Bon Iver
• CHVRCHES - The Bones of What You Believe
• Deafheaven - Sunbather
• Moving Mountains - Moving Mountains
• The Wonder Years - The Greatest Generation

Deafheaven. Nice. The Pecan Tree is such an epic song. Love that album.

It's probably tied for my favorite album with Moving Mountains and Since Before Our Time. The Pecan Tree is my favorite song, but Dream House is one of my most played haha Pecan has such a beautiful interlude. Eventually I'll teach myself to play the piano and guitar part. I want to listen to Roads to Judah, but both of Deafheaven's albums only have half the songs even with All Access. Dang licensing deals :/
