What are your favorite cases for the Galaxy S6?

They have always done that. It's so you can plug headphones in and it still be waterproof, and it's usually too narrow and deep of an opening to get most headphones in there so you have to use it to use headphones generally
I wondered about that even with the plug taken out. Thanks.

It can be a pain to keep up with sometimes, but I don't generally use headphones so it's not a huge deal to me.
That would also concern me. Even with it in my QC20 case, if you're in a hurry, say in an airport or on a plane, keeping up with it but now I understand why they did it that way. Seems like there's an easier way and not compromise the protection.

The adapter on this phone actually looks better than the iphone ones I have used in the past. This one looks a little bigger and more accommodating than the others. The others were a screw type and weren't much bigger than the Aux Jack itself. So, this case may be a little better. It looks like lifeproof is listening to its customers and trying at least.

Ok jcp007 I'm not going to tell you it's going to replace your Otterbox because I know you truly like it. I have a defender as well. I still like mine, as I said in the review I like the feel of the lifeproof, it's different from the defender. In my opinion it feels nice, and has a solid feel, Doesn't give you a worrisome feeling if you drop it.

felloffthetruck it's not like having a piece of scotch tape over the home button. It's just a bit thinner than the rest of the screeen protector.

Have a food day folks I have to work.

Please post a picture of the Defender and Lifeproof side by side when you get a chance. :)

I highly recommend this case its a ELV. Search it on amazon. it adds 0 bulk (actually) and covers the entire phone with a tight fit. Non slip. It even has a cover to plug into the headphone and charger when not using them. I'm a case fanatic and to be this is the best of protection and slim case . I also use a glass screen Protector . I got it off amazon it's less than 10$. I can't figure out how to attach the image on here I'll do so when I can

OK here are some pictures of the lifeproof and the defender. Please pardon the small hair and dust. Not in the mood to sterilize my phone after 13 hours @ work and coming home to take my son's cat to get stitches taken out. Anyway...

Thank you for the great pictures. Now, which case do you like best, Lifeproof or Defender?

Does the Lifeproof work fine with the Zagg Glass installed?

I'm surprised the Lifeproof is just as big as the Defender.

Haven't decided yet. Both are nice. I don't know how it works with the zagg glass because last week I cracked the zagg and because I'm getting another one sent to me I just took it off. Thought I'd try it without the cracked glass out of fear possibly to much pressure inside the case.

Any muffled sound or call problems while inside of the Lifeproof case?

I would think that replacing the stock Lifeproof screen protector would compromise the seal integrity. The Frè looks slimmer but more wide than the Defender. How is it from a weight perspective?

Just a bit lighter. I don't have a scale handy. Right now I'm pretty happy with the lifeproof fre.

Ok, then you can buy my son a Dodge Challenger for his 16th birthday. Not a toy version but one that can be driven.

I'll have to think about that one for a while.

I'm reading that the camera bump sticks out on the Lifeproof and the phone won't lay flat on it's back. I'm trying to talk myself out of ordering one. :-\

Good point. It is still protected and gives the device an incline to view your display.

As far Challenger colors, gun metal gray or black with custom factory rims. Six cylinders as he is only 16 years old.

Do you get any bubbling with the E LV on the back? Not sure how else to describe it, basically looks like patches where the case is "sticking" to the back of the phone...

No I haven't experienced that but it may have something to do with the fact that I have a screen protector on the back..
