What are your favorite cases for the LG G4?

Only way to go unless you just have money to burn and are really superficial IMO.

I really don't care what my phone looks like... because it is a phone. That said, a case, even the slimmest ones on the market, make the phone feel much bulkier in the pocket. I have a Spigen on my G4, only because the thing is so very slippery with the plastic back (and the edges appear to be rather fragile.)

If the plastic back was more grippy, I would gladly go with no case, and it has nothing to do with superficiality. Besides, the superficial folks got non-removable batteries/no SD slot Note 5's with glass backs...

Well I pretty much never use a case as I just like the look and feel without one (call me superficial ). That said, I decided to try out LG's silver/grey Quickcircle case as it really seemed interesting, not because I needed one. I take great care of my device and no, I never drop it (seriously). I like the uniqueness of the Quickcircle and it also keeps the screen from getting smudged and loaded with fingerprints which I hate. It works great and it adds very little bulk/weight to the phone.

Yep. I got the leather cover for free from a promotional offer. Dropped the phone. Shattered the glass. Upon getting it fixed I got the black Insignia case from Best Buy. It feels much better in my hand and it has "treads" on the long edges which helps me grip the phone. It's 123% better for me with the Insignia case.

The one downside to the removable back cover is I can't settle on a look I like. Sometimes I like the clean, brown leather back look, sometimes I like the combo of the leather back + my UAG case or I've been experimenting with a flat black spray painted back cover in the UAG case as well.

Was mucking around today and, inspired by the post of the clear Note 5 glass back, I thought I'd see what the UAG case would look like without a back cover attached.



Obvious issues as their is a slight gap in the back without the back cover, so dust and debris could be a problem. However despite this it feels pretty normal in the UAG case and not loose as I would expect. I would probably have more impact in a proper clear case as well like the ringke fusion.

I do sacrifice NFC and qi charging, however I only ever used qi charging and with the UAG case on it was too inconsistent anyway.

I'll give it a day or two before I'll swap it for something else again, but it seems fun for now.

I'm looking for a leather holster case (with fixed belt clip) that a "naked" G4 with just a leather back will fit snugly and securely in. I've tried a couple from Amazon but they were way too large. Any suggestions?

I skimmed the thread, but nothing immediately jumped out at me. What are some good holster case combo options? Bonus points for being blue.

Alternatively, are there any pseudo-universal G4 holsters that would work with different cases so I don't necessarily have to order both as a matched holster/case combo? I've seen several cases I like that don't come with a holster.

currently using ringke fusion case a very good clear case and well built my only complain is in long term use it gets sticky amd oily but i always have extra micro fiber cloth for my sunglass to clean it up. anyway planing to replace it with supcase the green one very eye catchy.

Are you talking about the Supcase Unicorn Beetle case? I just got one installed last night. It looks to protect well, but it adds a ton of bulk to the phone. I'm actually kinda regretting the purchase.

yes! no worries bulky phone is fine with me, anyway does the screen protector included lessen the sensitivity of the screen? i read others they remove it.

I didn't even try. I got the Yootec glass protector with it that everyone talks about. I ripped the plastic Supcase protector off before it was ever installed. Fyi, just be sure to get any leftover glue off the inside of the case if you do that.

The Yootec screen protector is pretty good, though. It's pretty forgiving if you don't line it up right, catch a hair under it, or otherwise have to pull it off. I had to pull mine up twice for lint getting under it, but it sealed just fine afterwards.

Instead of bying cases i have bought all original backcovers. Have the brown leather/gold version but also bought the white ceramic, red leather, black leather and grey ceramic. With wireless charging off course

I hope it's ok to ask, but can someone please tell me where I can a hardcover case that has a door on the back of the phone for credit cards? Not one of those that looks like a book, that you have to open to see the screen?? I can't find one on eBay or Amazon.Thank you for your time.
