What are your favorite cases/screen protectors for the Nexus 5X?

I was hoping for a Diztronic, but they took it off Amazon for some reason. For the screen protector I got the Invisible Defender Tempered Glass. I used their screen protectors for my 2014 Moto X and loved them. Hopefully the tempered glass will be just as good.

Now that I received the 5X a few hours ago I've had a chance to try out the 40 cent case in post #26 and the $35 Speck case from the Google Store.

I'm leaning toward the 40 cent case.

Also put on the Invisible Protector 9H glass screen protector from Amazon.It was easy to apply and fits well

I ordered the Adopted case from the google Store (UK)..

It just dropped through the door 2 minutes ago.

Its rather nice, fits perfectly, has a nice lip to protect screen and camera.. I'd reccomend it.

(I now need to cut a hole in it for my car mount magnet!)

Anyone have a good suggest for case that comes with a belt clip? I keep too much stuff in my pockets for me to carry my phone there; so a case that doesn't have a belt clip really won't work for me. I've been using Seidio cases that I've purchased from here (shopandroid.com) for my N4's; but it doesn't look like Seidio has a case for the 5X yet.

So any suggestion are greatly appreciated.

I went with a Diztronic. I ordered probably when I pre-ordered for my 5x, so it's been sitting here waiting for the phone like me. I had one on my moto x 2014 and my S4 before that. Same good quality they've always had with minimal bulk. Dissapointed to hear they're not on Amazon currently! I

I got a Ringke one from Amazon, it`s much like the Spigen ones mentioned earlier but I like it better, free screen protector included

I ordered that one too.

If you are going bother applying and using a screen protector I recommend you use a 9H tempered glass

I put on the Invisible Protector purchased off Amazon

It went on easy and fit well

Which color did you get? I'm curious about the clear frost color and whether it's totally clear/transparent.

Has anybody received their case if you ordered it from amazon? I want a heavy duty case but the only two that I can find , supcase and i-balistic, one says they don't make and one is postponed to the middle of November

I don't know if it's any good or not, or if it'll have the same problem as many of the slim cases on Amazon seem to have (missing mic holes). But it should be able to hold you over until the higher-end manufacturers release theirs. And if it's missing a hole, you can always return it as defective after using it.

Don't know when it'll be ready for purchase but Ballistic has a 'Tough Jacket' listed on their website. Bulky, but I really like those.

I received an email from Evolutive Labs that the Rhino bumper and screen protectors are in the works for both the 5X and 6P. The screen protectors are due in mid-November and the bumper in December. Looks like a solid product.

Im currently using the Nexus 5X Spigen Ultra Hybrid Case but i think there is an manufacturing issue with it. The mic hole that sits next to the USB-C charging point is covered up by the case - there is no cut out on it for me. Surely this is blocking the mic input that hole would receive and will affect the phones performance? Im using my phone with no sim card atm so havent made any calls, have been testing out marshmallow mainly, but can anyone with this case confirm that calls and stuff and if affected?

I don't have the Spigen, but I am using an Orzly Flexicase recommended by smithy1983uk (a nice case for the money BTW). It also covers the mic. I've made quite a few calls and haven't had a problem.
