What are your favorite cases/screen protectors for the Nexus 5X?

I'm considering this case. How does the back feel (less slick?) compared to the phone without a case. I'm looking for something that is not as likely to slip out of my hand.

Did you happen to get the screen protector from Spigen? I mean the tempered glass one... If so would you mind showing me a photo of the cutouts?? I've noticed the big cutouts at the top and bottom and also something else at the top.....

Indeed , the Spigen 9H. Only cut outs are top and bottom.

I just ordered the Ringke Fusion case. I have it for my iPhone 6 and works very well. Fits like a glove, and I hope it's the same case for my 5X when I receive it.

I've been looking around for a certain type of case.. I loved the official google cases for the original Nexus 5 (check pic in attachment for reference).. very simple,colorful and good looking. Has anyone seen one of these for the 5X yet?? Or anything similair.. I don't want the clear cases and the Spigen hardshell cases don't go around the whole phone which is a problem for me :/ Anyone know of anything?

That is probably because of my camera flash picking up the edges.

Mine comes for my 6p on Tuesday. There's an article on the main page of Android central where the case is sort of reviewed / hands on report.

What case are you going with?

I ordered ringke fusion and a flip/ wallet case. Have fusion for my N5 and have dropped it quite a bit with no breaking. So going with that one again. Would go otterbox but they don't or won't make them.

I bought a Cruzerlite bugdroid case (blue) and it also doesn't have the microphone cutout on the bottom. That's disappointing. Time to file a return on Amazon.

I love the Cruzerlite TPU cases - had one for both of our Nexus 5 phones. So pretty disappointed to see that. However, I just took a look at the comments on that page and the most recent comment said, "I just received an email from Cruzerlite that they, along with a few other manufacturers, failed to account for the microphone on this case and there is no opening for the microphone. The fact that it's multiple manufacturers makes me think Google or LG provided faulty specs, but that's just an assumption. Cruzerlite will be proactively sending me a new case. No action required from me."

So that's good news. All of the colors on that Amazon page are out of stock at the moment. Perhaps when the stock returns, it will be the updated version with the mic hole. In the meantime, I purchased the cheapest ugliest case I could find to use until a fixed version is available.

DO NOT BUY SPIGEN GLASS SCREEN PROTECTOR UNTIL FIXED!

I bought the Spigen protector and it does not have a cutout for the proximity sensor which causes problems with the screen turning off and not turning back on when taking and making calls. They are fixing it, but don't buy the current version. Make sure any tempered glass screen protector you buy has a cutout for the proximity sensor.

Can you post some pictures of the Adopted case? I don't know whether I want to get the clear, or a solid color. Is the case rubbery or more of a hard plastic?
