There are a lot of things I would like changed, but it would be a tad unrealistic and would never happen. But for the realistic things...

Keyboard lag fix
Fix for contact pictures
Better stock music player widget
Group widgets so that I don't have to scroll through 12 pages of widgets to get to the ones at the end of the alphabet

EDIT: A few others...

Swype between emails in the stock email app like in gmail
Upate the news and weather app, hasn't changed at all since introduced in 2.1

Agree about the Search Bar. It'll be better if you could just type in the field. Just like WebOS's 'Just Type'.

Also, if you're looking for an Equalizer for Music, Google Music has it built in. In the Music app, go to the Now Playing screen, click the menu bottom and then Sound Effects.

EQ in poweramp is way better IMO =D

I just put Volume+ on my phone yesterday and it fixed my volume issues for now but a real fix would be nice.

The search button added back to the dock and remove the multitasking button and just go back to holding down the home button.

Fix the 3g/4g reception and I'm good. Anything else would be gravy.

Just a few things that have bothered me:

- Low volume
- Change the LED notification from blinking every 10 seconds to 3 seconds.
- Facebook integration (Facebook might be the hold up, though)
- Faster and smoother rotation transition
- Ability to search your app drawer
- Better and faster focus with the camera (not sure if hardware holds this back)

1b. Deselect All (this one is arguably more critical to me)
2. Speed dial / predictive text in dialer
3. Finer grain volume controls
4. Ability to set notification tones by event type (it's dumb that I have to set these per app)
5. Ability to change the buttons on the toggle widget (I don't need brightness control, but I would like a quick toggle for vibrate/silent and airplane mode)
