To me the S series took a demotion as it doesn't offer a top of the line spec phone anymore ony s22 and s22+ , if people think the s22U is S series (it is not ) that's a renamed Note series phone . I love the Fold series (my personal favorite) and see why Samsung did a little rebranding to not cut into the profits of the Fold series, if they left things the way they were with S/Note/Fold it would take longer to get more people to get on board with fold device which in my opinion they didn't want .
Well now the S series does offer a top of the line spec phone, the S22U. I think Samsung is revving up to offer different lines of the fold phones, flip, fold, and rollable. It only makes sense to rebrand the note to the top line S series. It's like Dodge ram, is rebranded to Ram now. I still think Dodge, but in reality it's a Ram truck now, same with the S22U, a lot will still think note, but I'm reality now it's a S22U.
