What texting apps does everyone use?

I'm looking for a great texting app that offers a lot like Textra but let's got add a signature line.

Yata does, but I keep it blank.

I have been using stock so far. I really like Android Messenger, but the custom contact tones have been a problem for me and not very reliable. I'm on call so my work notification number has an awful can't miss tone and it doesn't always work in AM. If I delete the conversation, I have to send a text to the number so there's another convo and set up the custom tone again. It's either a silly way to manage custom tones, or I'm doing it wrong lol

I love Textra. But since the S8+ I've been sticking to stock Samsung Messaging app. Especially since it now allows GIFs when using the SwiftKey keyboard.

I'm currently using Samsung messenger and SwiftKey. I can barely send any gifs because they're over 1mb, the limit. I'm on AT&T.

I like the stock one because I can pick any of my photos as a background or add in any backgrounds saved to the phone or wallpaper styles from Zedge

I'm using the stock one at least for now. For some reason, the VZW one, message+ started glitching, not just on this phone but on the Pixel and now on the Note. So I tried Textra, which I like ok but I liked the stock one on the Note 7 so thought I'd go with it for a while and see.

Doesn't it bother anyone else that Textra is broken on this phone right now!?

I've been on Textra for years but won't use it until they fix it, so Samsung for me at the moment, reluctantly

I was using Hangouts and Android Messages for the past several years, but now I'm back to using the stock messaging app on my T-Mo Note 8.

If Apple would just release iMessage for Android all our messaging problems would be solved. LOL
