They wont hold it for me and they don't do appointments at my store so I will be there an hour before they open. I finished college for good today so nothing to do tomorrow anyways. Can't wait!!!!!!!!!

Called my VZW store and they told me to make an appointment to make sure I get one. I'll be there at opening 10am!

7:30am wake up.
8:00am walk out the door.
30min car ride to Verizon store (add 10min if there's traffic)
9:00am Get my nexus
10min car ride to University
10:15am Final exam for INFO & TECH FOR BUSINESS (easiest class ever)

The funny thing was minutes after the news broke, I texted the rep from the store (had his number from last week). He received my text just before he found out. Gotta love the internet! He said I will be his first. Only 10 more hours, not that I am counting! LOL

I'm not worried about this thing being sold out so soon. It was just announced... how many people in my area could possibly go and get one. I have two Verizon corporate stores near my house, around 10 Verizon retail stores within a 10 mile radius plus a few BestBuys, Radio Shacks and Costco and BJs.

I'll find the phone one way or another .....but I'll be there at 10am just so I can have the phone as soon as possible to play with

I'm hoping you are right. I mean there were people ahead of me for the Thunderbolt even though I got there at 8:30. Of course I still got one and it was announced at CES and a full two days before launch so hopefully it makes a difference that this wasn't announced at a huge tech convention and it was announced the evening before launch.

Verizon advertised the crap out of the Thunderbolt though.. that paired with the LTE commercial. This thing is pretty much word of mouth.

I decided to treat myself and take a half day off work tomorrow. I'll be there at 9 AM. Now I'll be able to sleep in a bit, get and play with my new phone!

The stores in Pensacola open at 9. I have permission to be late for work so I will be there when they open. Strange, the stores all open at 8 on Monday and Tuesday but 9 the rest of the week.

In mass it is opposite, opens at 9 in the beginning of the week and 8 Thursday, Friday and Saturday

Seriously - why the hell do all the L.A. stores open at 10a tomorrow?! Does anyone know if any plan to open at 9?

I plan on being at my local store at 11:15. Their UPS delivery doesn't run till 11-11:15 with the phones and accessories. Gotta love knowing people, should have one waiting.

I will not be going to a Verizon store tomorrow cause:
A: I don't have an upgrade and...
B: I just came out of a financial rut and though I can afford the $650 now I'm a little sore from the past few weeks and I know that once I get my mitts on the bastard I'm gonna be handing a rep my credit card.





Ah fudge it, I'll be there some time in the afternoon. I just hope to God that I don't like the screen and if I do, I hope it's sold out.
Now I'm starting to sweat.
