What will it take to get you interested in a Pixel 4/4XL?

I have the S10+ and an old Pixel 2XL. I have been switching back and forth between the two phones and I really am not seeing a huge difference between the two phones even though the Samsung has 8 gb of memory and the 2XL has 4 gb.

6 gb should be plenty for the 4XL

You face is not on the internet with face unlock.

Google Assistant is OK Google so can you hate one and like the other? Are you you referring to squeezing to activate GA?

Think it's where you swipe your hand in front of the screen to turn a page.

How much do you think Google will give for a trade in of a S10+? I am ready for the Pixel 4. Will miss Samsung pay, but I will get over that....much like I got over iMessage when I switched to the Samsung.

Had issues with my 10+ on Google Fi,decided to get rid of it. Paid $542.35 for it after trade in, and was offered $590 for it. I hope they don't offer more than $590 trade in on Pixel 4 Xl. ;)

You sold the Note 10 already?

It is all set to go, but still in my possession. As mentioned in other thread, don't want to take the chance of losing a text or call. Thought about switching to Verizon, but it would double my cell bill.

The Samsung Note 10 + is an awesome phone, but just not for me right now. The $$s I get for the Note will go towards a P4 XL. I gave it a shot!

edit: after I got the 10 I was switching between the 10 and the P3 regularly. I reset the 10 today and went to activate the P3, couldn't do it. Evidently there is a max number of switches within a certain time frame, I had exceeded it. Google Fi told me I'd have to wait a few days and try again. I told Google Fi not having a phone for a few days was not acceptable to me. After getting through with the chat I decided to try the sim I had taken out of the 10 in the P3, I did, it worked, all well in Fiville again.

Oh wow, glad you got that sorted out, but hey you gave it a shot.

That is not a deal in the slightest.

With the Note 10, it's only $100 to go from 256 -> 512GB and that's for UFS 3.0 storage.

For the OnePlus 7 Pro, it's only $30 for 2 extra GB of RAM AND to go from 128 -> 256 GB of UFS 3.0 storage.

A deal, for the older UFS 2.1 storage which is what the P4 series will have, would be more like $10 for 64 -> 128 and $20 for 128 -> 256
10 and 20 dollars would never be used as upgrade differentials

That's because the difference has been mostly exaggerated and only an issue if you like to keep more apps open than the average user.

I dont understand why it doesn't have wide angle? Is it the money issues, is it because it will be introduced in Pixel 5? Why would you not include it if it's more useful then telephoto and all competitors have one

I don't have any answer for you but some people prefer the telephoto.

Pixel makers are the only people who can answer your questions factually. All others guess, some educated, some not so much.

Mike, you're a photography hobbiest correct? You have DSLR and other equipment is what I mean.
4 or 5 DSLRs, 1 mirrorless Sony NEX, about 30 lenses. If you think cellphones are addictive, that's nothing compared to lens lust.

I almost forgot. I have the Moment wide, tele and anamorphic lenses. The anamorphic is a killer lens. Turns a cellphone into a cinematic camera.
So I do have solution to the Pixel having no wide lens. Just have to buy the Moment case. There is no cellphone with a wide lens that can match the anamorphic lens.
