What's the first thing you're going to do with the TB?

Stare in awe at the phone ive been waiting for since it was announced. Transfer the data from my 16gb card, which has already been backed up to my PC to that monster 32gb card then change wallpaper and widgets to a layout similar to what I have used since Touchflo 3d. Can't wait to use Sense UI again. Blur on my D X is so pathetic.

Turn it on and I don't mean power it up...fondle it...spank it...tell it how much of a dirty cheap $649 slut it is and how dare it keep me waiting...then maybe I'll bring it flowers in the morning

3. Rearrange
4. Transfer memory card contents
5. See how the browser looks!
6. Try a video chat

I will probibly have to call my grandson over to teach me how to oprate this new conflabit gizmo... no serioulsy by the time it comes out I will be 80.

1. Turn the lights down low
2. Put on some Barry White
3. Whisper sexy things to it. Praise its many virtues.
4. Then cross my fingers, turn it on, and pray to Jebus I get a decent signal here on The Street The Carriers Forgot.

If that goes well, I'm going to go out and get my Turn By Turn Navigation on for the first time ever. This service was made for me. It's going to be like getting thumbs after a lifetime of no thumbs.

Then I'm just going to download and try out the zillion apps I've been bookmarking for the past six months since I'm an Android virgin. I know I'll want to play with video and photo manipulation/uploading too and start shopping for some kind of compatible stereo dock and nightstand dock and car dock and other accessories. I'll want to set up some money management stuff and some kind of RSS something to unify an simplify the daily things I check. I'll get my online pantry/grocery/menu/recipe HQ scenario set up. I'll load upon ebooks, sample some games, and audition various apps to replicate my Palm Memo function and import that content. I know I'll be on this thing for like 48 hours straight with a few naps here and there, which ought to tell me something about its battery life.

Calendar, contacts and e-mail....Then I want to figure out how the darn thing works...I also want to download a game that is fun, I have been playing brick breaker on a BB for the last 2 years...yes I am really really good at that stupid game.

Root it, play with sense, and then a fresh ROM with cyanogen mod asap. In between that time I'll need someone to purchase my D2

This is arguably one of the best things I have ever read.

Play with sense then contacts, email, calendar then just mess around with the phone #Noporno

You know those guys on YouTube who stand in line for BIG demand items like the PS3, iPhones, 360 etc upon their release and then they take them and smash them using imaginative ways in front of people still standing in line for one? How awful would that be for you guys to either 1) see that happen right in front of you with the Tbolt or 2) see that online...

Only amounts to the frustrations.

Resurrecting an old thread. Hope that's okay!

I'm gonna try to learn all I can about Android before getting this baby. Any ideas where I should look so I can find out what to do first once I get the TB?

if your just now starting to learn about android, you still got some time. if you have been studying during this entire tbolt rumor party, you should be a master at android now lol

the tips/tricks an rooting section here are a nice start. also just browsing thru the forums is a great way to learn little things. youtube can sometimes be a great way to see how things are done.
