Just received mine today. Unlocked on T-mobile.

Just got an update on the AT&T S20 FE a couple minutes ago.

It was just a hair over 1 GB. But, as usual for updates for AT&T phones, it merely says "The software update supports enhanced performance and other device improvements". We never get the detailed info that every other carrier sends out with updates.

Turns out it's just the July update - late, since we're almost to mid-August. Baseband version FVG5.

Wow, I haven't even gotten the July AT&T update yet. Prior to June of this year I seemed to be getting them about the same time as others reported.

Got the T-Mobile August update yesterday. 2.5 weeks after the July.

Is this phone getting Android 14 or just 13? I know I read that it shipped in India on Android 11 so was guaranteed to get 14 there but not elsewhere. Doesn't make sense to just release it in one region though.

The S20 FE launched in India in March of 2021. That's a good 5 months after the initial global launch in October of 2020.

Unfortunately, the update schedule for all devices in a model range is based on what it had at the initial launch date.

Later regional releases aren't a factor.

After researching, I find it comical that Samsung considers Android 14 a "need to know" item and apparently nobody needs to. LoL

Just got October. Only 8 days after September. T-Mobile. And this time was notified when I unlocked the phone. Every prior update, I discovered by checking for one.

I'm still on August. Unlocked on TMobile. Not a happy camper.
