What's your earliest Android OS?

As I'm looking at the tips/layout for the newly installed Oreo on my Note 8, I started remembering past updates and the excitement of their release.
Then I remembered getting my first Android phone and thought how stupid the names sounded..
Operating systems named after foods? Desserts?
It has certainly came a long way. My Note 8 is blazing fast now with the latest Oreo update. I do remember how slow my Android was compared to Apple's in the earlier versions and slower hardware days.
But those days are gone now.
Although I can't remember the exact phone, it was in 2009, Eclair. 10 versions ago.
What was yours?

My first Android device came preinstalled with 4.0 ICS, so I haven't really been the oldest Android user, but I have been using Android ever since ;)

Mine was Android 1.6 Donut on the then beautiful and powerful Sony Ericsson Xperia X10i.

That phone got 2 major updates; it jumped to 2.1 Eclair and then it skipped 2.2 FroYo and went straight to 2.3.3 Gingerbread.

I to am now on a Galaxy Note8, and cannot believe how far this OS has come. I remember updating my Galaxy S2 to the much hyped Android Ice Cream Sandwich, that was a major turning point for this OS.

2.3.4 Gingerbread. Sony Xperia Pro. I feel there hasn't been much massive advancements since lollipop though. I'm still on 6.0 it's good enough for me.

Lollipop set the tone for the current state of the Android OS, after 4.0 ICS, Lollipop was the next major OS overhaul. The next overhaul should come in the next 2years or so, for now what we are seeing is newer versions of Lollipop basically.

My first Android was an LG Optimus V with Froyo. That phone is a legend! Last I checked (maybe a few months ago), devs are still working on it.

I think my first Samsung was the Galaxy Exhibit ll. I think lol. It was so long ago but that phone was awesome! :) Got me hooked.

HTC Evo 4g, the only phone I stood in a line to buy on launch day. It launched with 2.1 Eclair.

Jelly bean [EDIT] OOps I think it was kitkat... was my intro on a Sony Xperia Z3 - Verizon. I loved that phone, Water resistant, 2160p video. It was only $39 too after Verizon discounts.

My first ever Android OS was Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich); on my Nexus 5. But it got updated to Marshmallow (6.0). I loved that phone!

I had the S version. I used it until Sprint kicked me off for using too much data on their unlimited plan. Go figure.

Htc hero, cupcake.

Then the OG Evo got me in the root game. Flashed the hell out of that phone. Loved it.

That HTC Hero is the OG Android Powerhouse. That was the first Android I remember that truly gave me hope for this OS.

Mine was 1.5 on a Verizon droid. It was the HTC or whatever version that Verizon labeled droid. I then switched the rhe moto droid.

Nexus one was the first device I owned. was on Windows before that and took some time with an iPhone 3GS which I hated but back then it saved me money, until I tried to sell it and was robbed

Having left last year Windows phone and my hp elite x3 , first Android version was 7 for me.

First Android phone was the Nexus One. I think I still have it around somewhere, although it doesn't work. The flash memory is toast after all the ROMs I was constantly loading.
