Where are our Epic users from?

In the SF Valley there's no 4G...but head over to the LA Live/Nokia/Staples Center...they've got it. The new Regal Theater (Sprint sponsored) in there rocks by the way- all digital projection on all screens! See a movie, rock some Epic 4g while waiting for the film.

Seriously, is anyone up for coffee in the LA area the following weekend (labor day weekend) Sat/Sun or Monday?
Doesn't have to be long- we can meet up wherever is central to the people able to meet.

It'd be fun to share tips/tricks/comments/gripes- and just meet up. From the looks of it- perhaps even have a hacked phone by then if anyone is daring enough...

Not that the thread mentioned it- but interests other than Android are: Home Theater, Drums, Gaming, Good Food, even a bit of Gardening (that's the wife's influence)

I've got a friend in town that weekend, and she won't have a car so I'll be playing host. And I'll be in Vegas the following weekend. But if y'all meet up, let me know who's cool and who sucks and maybe we'll set one up again another time

Yes! My house would tumble over from the strength of eye roll I would get if I told my wife "I'm going to go meet a bunch of people from a cell phone forum".

ie: fan of Twilight, Scrapbooking, Girls night out, etc?

Hey bring her along if she can stand the discussion! My wife's getting an Epic too on tuesday...but when something doesn't work she'll hand it to me and say "make it work!" LOL! Kills me every time.

Guys like gadgets. I refused to carry a cell phone...till about 9+ years ago and I got one that had QWERTY/web/text/email. I didn't even have a computer at home...but I didn't need one.

Got the call from Sprint today that my Epic is waiting for me to pick it up Tuesday. I can't wait. It's like the days before Christmas when I was a kid!! No 4G for us in the near future, but I will just enjoy it in 3G. It's decent around here.
I would like to thank all of the regulars on here for all the great info that is posted. I am a noob basically. My Instinct s30 went down in June. So I used my wife's upgrade to get a Moment. I actually have had a good experience with it. I love the Android OS and all that comes with it. I was on the list to get an Evo, but no luck. Then I saw you guys talking about the Epic. I love a physical keyboard because I just don't type well on a touch screen. And the screen! Sweet! So here I wait. The 31st can't get here fast enough!

Guilty Pleasures...shopping, but not for one thing. I agree though...I'm a nerd until she needs her desktop rebuilt.

She dabbles from time to time, last month she tried to jailbreak her iPhone 3GS...so she has her nerdy leanings.

Glad I waited to read this post till today cause now I am even more excited. If I switch that radio on and it gets 4G I may dance in the store!
