1. You just come in here, insult people because they dare to insult the holy google ... You are correct that you are not "unmannered", you have no manners at all.
You seem to be the only one casting insults. I've reread my posts. Still don't see the insults. Either your being to sensitive too advice such as learning how Open Source works, or stating that your facts are not facts, or I'm missing it completely. I have no problem finding your insults though. Pot calling the kettle black?
2. If Google means "a couple of months", instead of "weeks" then they should say so.
We've been over this. Couple != Few. Couple means 2. That's it. Few is a nebulous number defined as not many. Is the number 8-10 really defined as "many"? I wouldn't necessarily say so.
3. Yup. They lied - see also #2.
You're still mistaken. See #2.
4. Maybe take some English lessons? You should sign your friends at doodle up as well. Couple, when used as an idiom, means the same as few and it is defined as more than two, but not many.
Couple does not mean "few". Sorry, it doesn't. A couple is always a few, but a few is not always a couple. If you took a few weeks from google to mean two, that sounds like it's not googles fault. I'm apparently not the one that needs english lessons...
Also, yet another insult from you, nice. Who's the one insulting who here?
5. I encourage you to learn (i) manners, (ii) English and (iii) about open source. Android is not really a "true" open source OS, like the word "open source" is usually used. Otherwise, other developers would be allowed to contribute to the source code. This is obviously not the case. Android is, in fact, the most closed source code they can get away with, while still calling it "open source." It's a nice marketing gimmick though.
I'm going to ignore all the insults. I do laugh at them though, since you seem so sure everyone is insulting you, rather than the other way around. Reality does not agree with that. Anyway, Android is fully compliant with the open source licences that they release under. If that's not the kind of open source you want, nothing that can be done about it. Doesn't mean it's anything like closed source. Look at iOS. They are never going to get something resembling Cyanogen. Why? No source. Why does android have it? It's got the source opened up.
6. I personally love it when people feel personally attacked, because you dare to criticize a company, which they love, for some wrong-doing. Doodle screwed up - deal with it. YOU would also benefit from them changing their ways, but if you prefer to play Ostrich and stick your head into the sand ...
I don't love google. I like certain products of theirs, but not everything, nor am I in love with all of their practices, etc. I also never stated that the way they do things was the best for anyone, myself included. Straw man arguments are very weak. Please, refrain from that for the sake of your own credibility. This whole time, I've done my best to not insult you. You obviously are not granting me the same courtesy. Unless you can actually act like an open minded adult, I think this conversation is done. Looking forward to seeing a hopefully improved next post.
