Which one will you choose? S8 or S8 Plus?

Any word on when the actual prices will be announced? I'm hoping it's not on March 29 or whenever they have their press conference. I know there have been various of different prices floating around. but if the base price (T-Mobile) is close to $1000 I'm out. I'll go back and get the S7 Edge. $1000 is ridiculous amount of money for any phone. The most I'll pay is $800, and that better come with some good freebies .:D

That'll be the official but there will likely be accurate leaks in the 2-3 weeks leading up to it.

The base price of the Note 7 was $850 on Tmobile before taxes. I can't see how you make the S8 Plus more money than that without the Spen feature. Might as well just buy the iPhone 8 Plus which is supposed to be a monster. Even at $850 that was a lot for the Note 7. I was at the tmobile store the first day pre orders started and the sales people even thought that was way expensive for a phone.

If this thing is $900 no way! Just for a large screen. I will buy the iPhone 8 Plus then or the next Google phone. With the last debacle with the Note 7 and Samsung's image that is suicidal to increase prices like that.

$950 for S8
$1050 for S8 Plus

I don't believe that, but I wouldn't be surprised. Bixby isn't cheap an neither are those screens. Screens will probably be like $400 to replace.

LMAO, no way I'm paying MORE than a Note 7 for a standard S8 even. Samsung always seems to shoot themselves in the foot with something each phone they release like taking SD away one year, bad battery life, Note 7 debacle etc. With the battery issue and $1000 for base model phone when you factor in taxes I just can't see how this phone will sell like hotcakes. Apple will eat them up this fall then if their iPhone 8 is cheaper by $100 bucks. If the OnePlus, and huawei gets to be popular in the US markets with similar phones with similar specs for a lot cheaper Samsung will have big problems!

man thats reality. ive owned 2 note 7s and one week after buying each a damn flamegate started. sure s8 looks tasty/hells bells enuff with ocd others thinking s8 is the holy grail. 1100 a pop is insanity. only way i pull the trigger if we get 30 percent off at git go to make it worth it.s7edge with nougat will be good for at least another year.im soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo worn out with samsung merry go round.

only if it has 6 ram and 835 chip and 4 k display and 6 inch or more, and free 256 card, and free overnight replacements and 2 month return period, and has dual or stereo speakers, and spen. then it might be worth it. without flaming out.

Samsung has brand name, but when customers start seeing installment plans for $40 per month, or $31 per month/30 months they'll realize how costly it is.

Unfortunately, that's where high end phones are headed. HTC asking $750 for the already outdated Ultra should have been the first clue. Wait till the iPhone 8 is announced.

As someone else pointed out, those are based off of Ukraine prices converted but there is a lot of factors that go into it while the price is higher in other countries. I would aim at possibly $875 for the S8 Plus which is still just too damn high unless it has an Spen built in. Even then factor in taxes, a couple cases and you're still near $1000.

I read one article that it will only be 4gb ram! It better be 6GB ram if they plan on jacking the price up.

its just plain theft of samsung why insanely they line thier pockets with cash. just read the news, and a few were arrested for bribery too. there comes a boiling point in which if it isnt better than the note 7, im stickin with my s7edge with nougat until we see if its another flamegate or not. im sick shelling 8 900 or more for a damn phone. and being ruled by carriers.

Would the carriers start considering large phones to be tablets? The reason I ask is I noticed that AT&T is trying to limit data on tablets to 1GB and start charging $15 per GB over. I wouldn't think carriers would try reclassifying these as tablets, but I wouldn't be surprised either.
