Whitestone Dome for the Ultra has Blue Light Cut ?

Ok, they have arranged for a new order tonight and I have received FedEx notification that they received shipping info. Estimated delivery is Tuesday, the 18th. So, it looks like I will get it before I get the phone. I will pray that it gets here undamaged. :)

They also gave me a 10% refund for the trouble. So, after I was frustrated with not hearing anything for 2 days, they responded and handled this very quickly so I have to take back my criticism on that front - and the refund itself is a very nice touch. Even though I feel that this product need stronger packaging, I do sort of feel like an *** for being very bothered by the initial non response.

My guess is that because the glass is inside the hard installation frame, the thought is that the glass wouldn't break, but for me, the frame was actually broken in the same corner as where the glass was broken, so I was unlucky.

I hope this time it turns out better!

Glad they got back to you. They did take care of refunding me yesterday for the warranty replacement I was accidentally double charged for.

For the price they're asking, I think they should just take your word for it. That's just me.
They do the same with warranty replacements. They want a photo....thats not unreasonable. Zagg used to make you send the old one back. I forget whether they stopped doing it because of return postage or covid.

S20 screen pricing.

I can't justify paying $1000+ for a premium phone that needs another shield to protect it... wish I could go back to my startach days when phones were meant to be dropped.

It's all worth it, both the phone and the Whitestone Dome screen protector.

Weird - the way I think about it is that I paid $1000+, so I'm more inclined to get something to protect it. But, you don't have to get a screen protector. That's entirely up to you.

My point is that we are in 2020. Why isn't the tech already built in the phone

Speaking of whitestone, anyone else ever have an issue getting one off? I had it on my S20 plus, it got a chip in it. When I wanted to replace it , it took me hours to get it off as it just kept breaking little piece off similar to a thin sheet of ice, what a nightmare.

Yeah I haven't had a good time getting them off. Idk if there is a special process but like you mine basically split into shards of glass

Don't be intimidated. It is an easier process than it seems. Just follow the directions and take your time

I Know the WSD protectors are truly the best, but Im concerned about trying the install also. My hands aren't the steadiest so that concerns me about tryin to do it myself. Is there anywhere you can go & have someone do it for you these days? Know BestBuy used to do them but thought you had to buy the phone or protector from them??

It's not bad process to do just watch videos few times on how it's done , get the 2 pack just in case it's 52 .00 at the moment . No need for steady hands as it has a tray to put it in to line everything up and post to screw the glue into on top and make sure you cover the speaker at top

It's not that bad at all. The main thing is make sure your surface is 100% level before starting.
I've done several of them and only screwed up one. I don't think Best Buy will do it unless it was purchased from them.
