I'm telling you, ton of crap in that box.

I've never used the thick plexiglass piece with the target in the middle on past installs. :-\

That was new starting with the 10 series and at first I was like WTF a new piece... but it's painless. It just seems to give it some weight to disperse the glue. I'll get my new shipment tomorrow and I am PRAYING it is not cracked. Surely it can't happen twice, right?

Well that's what I get for waiting. Why they only had the discount for a week, we'll never know.

For some unknown reason, FedEx did not deliver and my item was left at the shipping facility all day despite it being there since Sunday. They just changed the delivery date with no explanation. My guess is that because they got it on Sunday, and they didn’t deliver Monday because according to their site, it was “not due for delivery” - they just forgot to load it on the truck this morning. So it just sat there and this afternoon the delivery date just changed to tomorrow.

Screw that.

I was now overly concerned that when they did load it for tomorrow, that they’d somehow damage it. Yes, I didn’t trust it. Even though they are shipping my phone tomorrow, I didn’t care. I didn’t want to deal with another broken glass. Sooooo, I decided to walk the 2.5 miles to pick it up from the facility. I do 3-5 mile walks and runs late in the day anyway, so I just decided to change my route.

No damages that I can tell!!

I’m pleased.
