Who has to send theirs back? Why?

Okay I'll start. just got off the phone with Google. Mine has to go back because the speaker doesn't function. Otherwise it arrived in pretty good shape. Anyone else with the same issue?

How about you? Why is your Nexus 7 going back to Google? (Technical issues only, not because you wanted to pick one up at Gamestop or whatever.)

Got one from Staples after I got bored waiting for my 6/27 order to even give me a shipping date. Was planning on just rejecting the Play order, but had to return the Staples N7 because of the left side screen rise problem (sponginess/noise was never going to not annoy me) and some pretty significant ghosting. So now I'm back to waiting.

I had to take mine back to Sam's Club due to constant freezing / restarting. I'm debating whether I will get another one.

I'm not sure I need to send it back, but the silver edge on the left side of the tablet seems to have been dropped as there's a slight dent about halfway down. Anyone else see this as well or do most people have a straight left edge?

The left side of my screen is easy to push into the frame of the device. It feels very springy compared to the screen everywhere else. Not sure if I am going to return but I am concerned.

I have to return my preorder unit which arrived today because I was too impatient and bought one at Sam's Club on Saturday.

My sound stopped working after the OTA update... coincidence? I dunno, either way I don't have speaker sound or headphone sound :'(

Multiple dead pixels, some being in the center of the screen. Pretty annoying. Not sure if I want to get another and hope it isn't the same or have the glass issues. Time to save for an iPad.

A line of dead pixels on my nephews. I exchanged it at Gamestop today. His new one and mine are fine.

A small crack on the edge of the glass just above the bottom right corner. I am debating whether to send it back. I just spent hours customizing the Nexus.

Which basically renders the device useless..... It was RMA'd today and will hopefully have a new one by the end of the week........

Screen is blown-out gray with horrific ghosting as detailed here and I think the left side of the screen may be a little loose. It's damn shame because when the screen manages to "warm up" it's quite lovely and the unit is terrifyingly fast - even faster than my Epic 4G Touch and definitely better than my Transformer.

Not sure if I'm going to return it yet, but my screen is also slightly risen/seperated on the bottom left edge. It's more like the silver band is bulging out. If it's only some plastic I don't really care, but if dust is going to affect it...

Anybody have it flush on the left bottom side?

Same issue as the OP of "NFC error of of the box" and my screen is raised on the left side.

Btw, I notice upon closer inspection of my box that the seal had been broken and then resealed. I wonder if I got a refurb...

Did you deselect the option to have your Google account linked to the device as part of the order? I believe it is selected by default. Because if you chose to have your account link, I'm assuming that they had to take it out to link it and then repackage it. The device is too new for refurbs to be making the rounds.

Yes I did deselect the option. Probably right about the refurb situation. Just trying to figure out why my Nexus package was opened and then resealed...
