I got an SD card once that was supposed to be 8GB but someone had just changed the mounting info to read 8GB but the actual space was 2GB. When I tried to go beyond the 2GB, it stopped working (I haven't looked into this in a while, but I seem to remember reading that it writes over the header info and so it can't mount anymore).
Anyway, the Lexar above is sold directly by Amazon.com (not some third party), so it should be pretty legit. Where you get into the most trouble is eBay.
Amazon.com: Lexar High Speed MicroSDHC 32 GB Class 10 Flash Memory Card with Reader LSDMI32GBSBNAR: Electronics
I'm hitting a wall finding a good 32GB microSDHC class 6 card. I want to be able to have it when I pick up my H3D. If anyone knows of a good link, please share.
I just got this Lexar card and finished copying and pasting all the content from my previous memory card, but my Evo doesn't recognize the apps that I had previously transferred to the old memory card. Am I missing something? My old 32gb card was a class 2, so my goal is to transfer EVERYTHING over on the class 10 card prior to getting the E3D next week.
Did you copy the .android_secure folder to the new card? Note the . in front. My old phone (nexus one) picks up on the old apps I moved to SD just fine on the new card.
Guys, should I stick to trusted companies such as sandisk or is it fine buying from other, less known companies for MUCH cheaper? Or are they cheap and unreliable and not worth buying.
Don't skimp man. A lot of the cheaper ones are slower and unreliable. They even sell imitation sandisk ones. Spend the money and get the real deal.
I don't see a ".android_secure" folder when I mount the original SD card. I highlighted all folders and files that do appear, copied, and then pasted everything onto the new card. This is pretty frustrating. Should I be concerned there's no ".android_secure" folder? Is there a way to create one? Thanks for your help.
