No case or anything for me, it ruins the experience. And besides, I baby my phones enough and they are only going in my pocket. I was able to sell my EVO on ebay as "mint condition" and they buyer never complained and I never had anything covering the EVO. That's how good I keep my phones. The only phone I had thats screen got scratched up, was the Pre and that was cause it was plastic

If I can manage to get a TBolt I will go for a screen protector for sure. Ive had the same one on my Incredible as I got really lucky and it has no bubbles or anything and you can hardly tell its there.

Im kind of iffy on a case, Id have to try one on it to see how much larger it would be since its already fairly large.

I think I might go with a case... I have this feeling I might want to jump ship to a better phone after a year, and I'll be able to make more selling it if it doesn't have scratches.

If I did go case, it would have to be something nice and smooth. Nothing rubber. I have trouble taking my blackberry out of my pocket, and it was even worse when I was suckered into the rubber case for it which essentially made getting it in and out of my pocket a PITA.

I don't know about a case. I started out with a case on my D-Inc but now I don't have one because of the extended battery

I'll be going with the case. I'll probably be picking it up on a 1-year contract, and I seem to prone to dropping my phone (ewww, that was a nice rhyme), so the case will be important when I sell it in 10 months.

I'd go with a screen protector. My keys usually accompany my phone while it lies in my front pocket. My OMNIA's screen was spared from one deep gash from the teeth of the keys, by having protection. And a quality screen protector won't inhibit your touchscreen experience.
