The pixel 3 xl was even worse than the iphone IMO, so i too am quite ok with a hole.

iPhone has the luxury of going wider because they don't use a notification bar like Android.

I don't normally cave to that kind of peer pressure. I rarely upgrade sooner than a year. The fastest I ever upgraded was 6 months. I can wait to see the pluses and minuses and hopefully a better deal.

. I wish I could find a good deal on a Galaxy Watch right now (not the active). That is what I am waiting on now that I got the phone. Swappa only has a business selling ones right now, not a complete package.

I will never get something smaller unless they get big to the point of unmanageable.

I left the Gear S3 Frontier for a Ticwatch Pro and I am so glad I did.

Well, I’ve had several galaxy watches and like Tizen. Last time I used android wear I wasn’t impressed but that was a few years ago.

OK. It seems to have improved a lot. For me, Tizen was driving me crazy with its lack of apps. And the Ticwatch Pro has some insane battery life. Last few years at DragonCon I carried my watch charger with me to keep it running. I don't think that will be necessary this year.

That's one of the major reasons I got the regular instead of the Plus this time around. 6.1" is plenty of screen for me.

as i stated some posts back, this hole punch thing is just a stopgap.. the technology is probably all but ready- it's smart marketing, though, to baby-step it incrementally (all of u eager fan-boys who can't wait to cop the punch-hole S10 are proof of that). like i said before, i'll hold onto my S9+ until..

. Everyone has known that since notches came around. They were / are all stop gaps.

but name a "stop gap" as conspicuously 'stop-gappy' as this compromising notch-hole punch mess
.. it's a marketing ploy at trying to milk fan-boys in this age of saturated phone sales.. that's all i'm sayin

They all have been like this. Were you not around when notches came out? The same uproar happened then.

Before having the S10e, I was sort of against it. Well not totally against it but the notch made more sense to me because if symmetry. Now that I have the S10e, the hole punch is so much better than a notch. It's stylish and it's out of the way. I don't even notice it.
