Who thinks its going to be great and already saving up their extra coins?

I think it has potential despite possibly losing a couple features. Can't wait till the end of August.

If the renders are correct I'm not excited at all.
I'm disliking glass back phones more and more everyday. The only thing it's good for is wireless charging. Nothing else.

I was at first but I'm extremely disappointed that it's basically going to be a bigger g6.

The v line was made to be easily identifiable from the g line.

Not anymore...

I wouldn't mind because I case my phones.... I hate losing the swap-able battery. It was bound to happen.

If it only meant appearances I wouldn't care, but making it look like the G6 means giving up some of the things us die hard V20 fans love.

Exactly.

I knew they weren't going to make it battery swappable already .

But making it allegedly more like the g line and taking away what made the v line special and a must have flag ship is bonkers to me

If all we lose is the battery and possibly the second screen, its still a great phone. Not sure if ill leave the V20 if everything else stays the same. A better wide angle camera would be nice and make it a harder decision. Daydream compatibility makes it interesting. Not sure how I feel about the Amoled screen.

Amoled screen is the only thing I'm on board with completely.

Amoled is da bess.

key for me is ir blaster. Won't even consider it if it lacks this feature. I hate Samsung so I may well go to iPhone.

So you can lose some of the other features and it's ok but the IR blaster is a deal breaker? Enough to make you go iphone when the iphone doesn't have a IR blaster either?

Yup. Keep V20 for another year then iPhone. If V30 doesn't have ir blaster nothing from verizon will so may as well go to a phone with more available accessories

Right now Im more excited about the LG made Pixel 2!

These are the 2 phones that peak my interest.. I wish the Pixel XL had a wide angle lense

1. The lost features I didn't really care about anyway.
2. I like the AOD better than the dedicated row
3. I like removable batteries but prefer waster resistance
4. The 2/1 aspect ratio is the $h!t

If all is true the V30 will be the bees knee's

As guess when put it that way get I it. Having a lot of accessories is certainly attractive, however I'm a simple person and don't need much beyond a case, a mount, and maybe some car chargers.

I won't buy a single camera Pixel. The wide angle really does it for me. I have always been a fan of wide on a DSLR and I have an extremely wide lens.

It will peak my interest. I didn't hate the G6 at all and loved the wide angle lens.

I'm not sure I'd call that a fact because each screen type has it advantages and disadvantages, however its clear from posts I've read over the last year and half that Amoled is the more popular choice.
